Established in 2018 and headquartered in Soho, London, West One International (“W1”) is a contemporary content business and independent media group. Founded and led by industry veteran, Carl Hall, the Company is focused on building a global financing and sales agency to represent a growing portfolio of long-term distribution rights across documentaries, kids and music. With over 30 years’ experience in the sector, both as a producer and distributor, Carl and his team aim to pave a new way in distribution by facilitating production companies to complete their projects by providing funding and covering the remainder of the production budget.

At W1, we aspire to be the ‘go-to’ destination for premium content that inspires and enthrals our broadcast and multimedia partners and their audiences. Our extensive experience in the global distribution sector plus a deep understanding of leveraging the ever-changing content delivery platforms (web, OTT, VoD, traditional broadcasters), puts W1 in a strong position to attract major new projects by offering producers global reach plus financial backing. By partnering with some of the world’s leading production companies, we aim to bring to market a rich and diverse selection of stand-out unscripted content, thought-provoking documentaries and compelling shows which will stand the test of time to become iconic franchises.
